Review of Article Submitter Pro
A new piece of article submission software has been released. You may be familiar with EzineAnnouncer, which I still use, or Article Announcer by Jason Potash.
Ken Nadreau and Hubert Daul have created an easy–to–use software that takes some of the tedium out of article submission. When initially loading the software on your computer, you get a start–up screen that captures all of your basic identification information. The user guide opens at the same time and walks
you step–by–step through the software.
After registration, you need to visit the article sites that require a free account for submission. The software will ask if you want to open these accounts and provides you with a special screen to accomplish this.
Your main screen opens and gives you the following options:
Article Creation – Lets you type or cut and paste an article into the software.
Article Grabber – Helps you "grab" an already existing article from your web site.
Bio Box – The place where you will create as many bylines/resource boxes as you please.
Submission Websites – This is the list of current sites available for submission.
E–mail Submission Sites & Groups – Offers a list of sites and newsgroups that accept article submissions. You can change the settings to record your member information and you can add new sites to this screen at any time.
The Article Submissions Window – This is where much of the action takes place in Article Submitter Pro. Here you will select an article, title and byline to submit.
There are two types of submissions in Article Submitter Pro. One is "automatic" and the other is "manual". You will use a series of tabbed screens in both types of submissions that will walk you through the process of submission.
Article Submitter Pro is new and, as such, is constantly being updated. The developers are adding new submission sites and additional features all the time. After you purchase the software you will receive free updates for a period of time.
I found Article Submitter Pro very intuitive. The user guide is short, but to the point and the developers are responsive when you need help.
